François Ortalo-Magné joined the Tanla Board of Directors in October 2024. He will continue to serve as the Executive Dean and CEO of London Business School (LBS) while taking on this new role. He brings a wealth of experience in strategic leadership, with a distinguished background in driving transformative change and fostering global connections.

In his ongoing role at LBS, François has led the institution through pivotal transformations, including a strategic rebranding and financial recovery following the pandemic. He also launched initiatives that raised £30 million in scholarships to advance gender and socio-economic equity, solidifying LBS’s position among the world’s top business schools.

Alongside his role at LBS, François has held various leadership positions at institutions such as the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota and is widely recognized for his ability to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and lead organizations toward transformative growth.
